Jonathan Smith, Research and Project Manager (Campusalam)
Jonathan has been with Lokahi since 2009 and enjoys taking part in an innovative project to support students of faith in bridge-building and activism.
Jonathan holds MA degrees in Applied Linguistics and in International Peace Studies and was born in Atlanta, USA. He taught for four years at universities in Lebanon and the Palestinian Territories, where he supported student groups engaged in interfaith dialogue and non-violent action for peace and justice.
Jonathan has conducted research and written on interfaith solidarity in South Africa and Christian-Muslim relations in the Middle East.
